Origin and Terroir The grapes originate from our sustainable managed vineyards around the Göttweiger Berg. Here, the character of Grüner Veltliner is influenced by a unique climate, as high fluctuations between day and night temperatures let it develop its typical varietal fruit. The influence of the Danube and the deep loam and loess soils also contribute. Vinification The grapes were selectively harvested, destemmed and pressed without maceration time. The resulting must showed a fresh fruit and typical spiciness. Fermentation was completed in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks. Tasting notes light green-yellow, fine spiciness in the nose, nice fruit of green apple on the palate; a classic! Drink- and Meal recommendation Refreshing food pairing partner - not only to Austrian cuisine; This fresh Veltliner is particularly suitable for an aperitif on warm summer days.
